Memory Catchers - oral history training

06.01.2017, 10am to 4pm , – (Volunteering)

Come along to Worthing Library and find out how to capture the memories of local fisher-folk for The Last Fisherman Standing Project.

If you are curious and interested in people and their memories this is the perfect day for you. No previous experience of interviewing is necessary, you will find out all about oral history interview techniques throughout the day. We'll talk about what oral history is, why it's important and how to go about creating and recording interesting interviews in a comfortable and friendly way.

For more information and to book a place please email fran@foodpioneers.org.uk

Refreshments will be provided.

This event is part of "The Last Fisherman Standing", our HLF funded project.
